Remote hands from an engineer, not a ticket queue.
Installations, changes, moves and hardware swaps in your colocation space or server room — done by someone who understands what is on the other end of the cable, and documented before we leave.
Diagnose, not just reboot
Facility remote hands follow the ticket word for word. We read the lights, check the console and tell you what is actually wrong.
Your change window, kept
Work is scheduled inside your maintenance window — including after hours, when that is the only safe time to touch production.
Labeled and recorded
Every cable labeled at both ends, and the rack elevation updated to match what is actually installed.
A written report every visit
What was done, what we found and what changed, with photos wherever the facility allows them.
Who does the work
Certified engineers — CCNP, MCSE, Security+ and ITIL — with enterprise network experience behind them.
The person on your access list is the engineer you talk to — not a dispatcher sending whoever happens to be free. Summit Networks is service-disabled veteran-owned and based in Colorado Springs.
What you get after every visit
- A written summary of exactly what changed
- Photos of the work, where the facility allows them
- Cables labeled at both ends
- Rack elevation and asset list brought up to date
- Your confirmation that it works before we leave
What we handle

Hands-on work in colocation facilities and on-premises server rooms, for businesses that do not keep an engineer on site.
- Remote and smart hands — power cycles, console access, reseating cards and cables, reading status lights, and swapping failed drives, power supplies and optics
- Rack and stack — unboxing, rails, mounting, A/B power, cabling, labeling, and handing over remote access
- Cabling and cross-connects — copper and fiber patching inside your cage, with cross-connect orders coordinated between the facility and your carriers
- Moves, adds and changes — new capacity, re-cabling, and equipment moved between racks without surprises
- Migrations — server room to colocation, one facility to another, or out to the cloud, planned around a cutover window
- Decommissioning — equipment powered down, removed and inventoried, with drive destruction arranged through a certified provider
- Audits and documentation — rack elevations, cable maps, asset lists with serial numbers, and power draw measured against circuit capacity
- Server room care — UPS, cooling and cable management for businesses whose data center is a room down the hall
How a visit works

What it costs
Data center work is billed at our published project rates and approved in writing before anything starts.
Not included: the equipment itself, facility charges such as cross-connect fees, and certified drive destruction — each itemized on your quote before anything is ordered.
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from the data center’s own remote hands?
Facility remote hands are good at exactly what the ticket says: a power cycle, a reseated cable, a photo of a panel. We send an engineer who can diagnose the problem, work at the console and tell you what was found. Plenty of businesses use both — the facility for a quick overnight reboot, us for anything that needs judgment.
Which data centers do you work in?
Colocation facilities and on-premises server rooms across Colorado Springs and the Front Range. The one requirement is authorized access: your facility has to add us to your access list before the first visit.
Can you receive equipment we ship to the facility?
Yes. We coordinate delivery with the facility’s receiving desk, check the shipment against the packing list, and install it on the date you choose.
What happens to the drives when you decommission equipment?
They are pulled and logged by serial number, and destruction is arranged through a certified provider that issues a certificate for your records.
What if something is down right now?
Call 719-451-1218 — calls are answered day or night. On-site work outside business hours is billed at $225/hour.
