Advanced Troubleshooting · Colorado Springs
The problems other providers gave up on.
Intermittent faults, mystery slowdowns and tickets that keep coming back — diagnosed to the root cause by certified engineers, explained in writing, at published rates.
What this covers
Measured, not guessed.
Most IT problems that outlast a provider are not hard because they are complex. They are hard because nobody stayed on them long enough to find the actual cause. We do the boring part: reproduce it, instrument it, and rule things out in order.
Intermittent network faults
Drops, slowdowns and problems that only happen sometimes — tracked over days, not looked at once.
Unresolved tickets
The ones your current provider or in-house IT closed without actually fixing.
Mystery slowdowns
Servers, workstations or applications that have quietly got worse over months.
Legacy systems
Old hardware or software that has to keep working alongside everything new.
Root cause analysis
A real diagnosis and a written explanation, not a reboot and a hopeful close.
One-off engagements
No recurring contract needed. Bring us one problem and we will take just that.

How we work a hard fault
You get the findings either way.
An intermittent problem cannot be diagnosed in a single visit, so we scope for that up front rather than billing you for four hopeful ones.
| Stage | What happens | Time | You get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scope | What breaks, how often, what changed | 30 min, free | A written plan |
| Reproduce | Make it happen, or prove when it does | 1–2 sessions | Evidence |
| Instrument | Monitoring left in place over days | 2–14 days | Data over time |
| Eliminate | Rule out causes, likeliest first | Varies | What it is not |
| Fix & verify | Apply it, then watch that it held | 14 days clean | Written root cause |
If the real fix turns out to be structural and bigger than the budget, you still get the written diagnosis. You are never left with nothing but an invoice.
What it costs
Scoped and approved in writing before anything starts, with a cap agreed up front so an open-ended investigation cannot become an open-ended invoice. See full pricing →
Who this is for
- Businesses with one specific, persistent problem — you do not need to be a managed client
- Anyone whose provider keeps closing the same ticket
- Companies with no IT provider at all who just need this one thing solved
- In-house IT teams who want a second pair of eyes without handing over the environment
What we will tell you honestly
- If the cause is failing hardware that simply needs replacing
- If the cheapest fix is a rebuild rather than more diagnosis
- If your current provider was right and the problem is somewhere else
- If we are not the right people for it
We would rather lose the hours than bill you for a diagnosis we already know will not stick.
We already have an IT provider. Can we still use you for this?
Yes. This is designed as a standalone engagement — no conflict and no requirement to switch anyone. We report to you, and the findings are yours to share with them.
What if the problem only happens sometimes?
That is most of what this page describes. Intermittent faults need monitoring over time rather than a single visit, and we scope for that up front.
What do we get if you cannot fully fix it?
A written explanation of what we found and what we ruled out. Even where the real fix is structural, you end up knowing what is wrong instead of guessing.
How do you stop this becoming an open-ended bill?
We agree a cap before starting. If we reach it without a root cause, we stop and tell you what we know rather than quietly continuing.
Do you need admin access to everything?
Only to what the fault touches, and we say which accounts we need and why before asking. Access is handed back or removed when the engagement closes.
Can this turn into ongoing support?
It can, and often does — but nothing here obliges you to. Managed IT →

Tell us what keeps going wrong
Describe the fault and how often it happens. We will come back with how we would approach it and what it would cost to find out.
