Questions people ask before signing
Is an electronic signature actually binding?
Yes. Electronic signatures are valid under the federal ESIGN Act and Colorado’s Uniform Electronic Transactions Act. Adobe records who signed, when, and from where, and issues an audit trail with the completed document.
Can I read it before I commit to anything?
Yes. Opening the link does not sign anything. You can read the whole document, close it, and come back later. Nothing is binding until you sign and submit it.
What if I want something changed?
Ask before you sign. Call 719-451-1218 or email owen@summitnet.io and we will talk it through. A signed agreement with a side conversation attached to it helps nobody.
What do you do with my information?
We use it to prepare and administer the agreement, and for nothing else. Your taxpayer ID is never collected here — that belongs on an IRS Form W-9, which we request separately.
